One of the most exciting promotions for Peach Blossom Spring so far has been the Tandem Collective Readalong. In early September, a select group of Bookstagrammers (bookbloggers on Instagram) received copies of the hardbound UK proof along with a box of goodies from The Tandem Collective.
Over the next week or so, they read the book and posted favourite quotes from various sections. They chatted with other readers and followers about the book in their feeds, generating interest and enthusiam. At the end, each posted a review of the novel. It was amazing to see how the story unfolded for a group of readers in real time. The readers, chosen for their Bookstagramming flair and perceptiveness, were wonderful. They highlighted special sections, shared inventive photos, and gave an incredible welcome to my book. Throughout the readalong, I exchanged short messages with many of them and, without exception, they were lovely!
